Fonfría is a place with numerous fountains and ponds. There are many stunning natural settings in this area, of a great beauty and widely unknown to enjoy fresh air from the mountain and feeling good sensations.
The serenity of the source of the Huerva river, the ponds, the pine and rebollo oak forests, the Oriche mountain range, “la Rocha”, the Chevrons, … In fact, the Fonfría mountain range is an area that has been declared as a Site of Community Importance (SCI).
In the town you can see the Parish Church of Saint Miguel and the Santa Cruz, which interior has elements of a great artistic importance that compose a small religious museum, also the trinquete of the Town Council and the old fountain.
Famous are the great quantity of mushrooms from the forest of this area.
