St. Bernabé Hill and Torralba Castle Viewpoints in Torralba de los Sisones

VIEWPOINT OF THE TORRALBA CASTLE

How to arrive:

This viewpoint is located in the upper part of the village, where you can visit the ruins of the castle.

It has awesome views of the town, as you can see the parish church tower and in the background, you will see the Gallocanta lagoon and some of the villages surrounding it. It will allow the nature lovers to see steppe bird species like the skylarks, calenders, short-toed larks and little bustards, also many flocks of cranes in winter in the surrounding area of the Carabejas water basin.

Towns you can see from the viewpoint: Torralba de los SisonesBello, Tornos, Gallocanta, Las Cuerlas, Used, Santed.

Altitude: 1061 metres above the sea level

VIEWPOINT OF THE ST. BERNABÉ HILL

How to arrive:

The viewpoint of the St. Bernabé hill is accessed by taking the path starting from the Horno street from town.

While access to the hill has to be done on foot, the panoramic view is well deserved as the views are stunning.
